KULOT DEV STUDIO

Privacy

Your data,in plain terms.

What we collect, why we collect it and how to get it removed. No dark patterns, no selling your details, no jargon we can avoid.

The short version

If you book a call, we keep what you typed into the form so we can reply. Beyond that we collect anonymous usage statistics and automatic error reports, both of which help us keep the site working.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. If you want anything we hold about you removed, email us and we will do it.

Who we are

KULOT DEV STUDIO is a web design and development studio based in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines, working remotely with clients here and abroad. We are the personal information controller for this website under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

For anything in this policy, write to arjayrp.dev@gmail.com.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing else:

  • Booking form: your name, email address, project type, preferred date and time, and whatever you write in the message field. You choose what to put there, so please leave out anything you would not want in an email.
  • Analytics: pages you view, the link or search that brought you here, your device, browser and screen size, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. This is country and city level, not a street address.
  • Error reports: when something breaks, we receive the page it happened on, your browser and operating system, and the technical details of the fault. These reports are configured to exclude your IP address, your cookies and anything you typed into a form.

Why we collect it

The booking form exists so we can reply to you and prepare for the call. We use your email to respond, and nothing else. You will not be added to a mailing list.

Analytics tell us which pages people actually read and which ones get ignored, so we know what to improve. Error reports tell us when the site is broken for real visitors instead of waiting for someone to complain.

Cookies and similar storage

Our analytics set one cookie and one browser storage entry containing a randomly generated ID. That ID lets us tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not linked to your name or email, it is not shared with advertisers, and it does not follow you to other websites.

You can clear or block it in your browser settings, or use your browser's private mode. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. Our error reporting sets no cookies at all.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of outside services to run the site. Each one only receives what it needs for its job, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes:

  • Resend delivers the booking form as an email to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form was submitted by a person rather than a bot.
  • PostHog provides the usage analytics described above, and processes it on servers in the United States.
  • Sentry receives the error reports described above.
  • Our hosting provider stores standard server logs needed to serve the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails stay in our inbox while we are talking, and afterwards as a record of the conversation. Ask us to delete yours and we will remove it.

Analytics and error data are kept according to each provider's standard retention period and then deleted automatically. Neither identifies you by name.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected if it is wrong, have it deleted or blocked, object to how we use it, or receive a copy of it. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Email arjayrp.dev@gmail.com and we will respond. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something through the form, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top. There is no archive of past versions, so if the detail matters to you, save a copy.
